I noticed that you have already given an answer and fix to this here: tried this and it works for me.
No matter what I do, I cannot get the UI to change when I set the Selected Item property via the View Model.
Property Changed ' Methods Public Sub New() End Sub Public Sub New(By Val date Time As Date Time) Me. My Data Property = ("Last bound time was " & date Time. ): Some notes on this: The first If short circuits the setter if the property is being assigned the same object as it had before (since the property isn't being changed) After that we always raise the Property Changed event for Selected Item, since this value changes. But before we assign the new value, we take a look at the old value and remember if it was Nothing. The combo gets the collection and I can change the values via the UI. Also, just an FYI, I have 4 collections which were populated by enumerations and I can set the Selected Item property just fine and it updates the UI.
I also thought I should attach my Raise Property method and event, just in case it is of importance to my problem: Here is the event: Hi Stephen, Could you please try setting Selected Value instead of Selected Item? However, we will research further why Selected Item is not set correctly. All the best, Yana the Telerik team We finally got it figured out.Contract Note has the property Is Eco Generated, and it implements , the Notify Property Changed is also triggered on the setter of the property. Can you give me a hint on what I'm doing wrong, or what I need to do to get the grid to update/refresh?I also tried setting up a binding to Selected Index, but that doesn't work either.Based on what I have read, I have this set up right. While the Rad Numeric Up Down control still has the focus from a previous edit, if I update what it is bound to in code behind and Raise Property Changed for the property, the Rad Numeric Up Down does not get updated. Below is how I am defining the control and binding in XAML: Hi Alan, You mean that the Value Changed event is not fired?
